Salon Lasers, Inc. is the largest distributor of Hair Enhancement Lasers in the United States, but the owners began the journey in the salon. After many years as successful salon owners, Craig Black and Dennis Dunford added Laser Hair Enhancement services to their salon in Huntington, West Virginia. Recently, Craig Black has been a speaker for National-Interstate Council of State Boards of Cosmetology (NIC), Transitions International, Virtual Reality hairloss events and the National Association of Barber Boards of America (NABBA) 2008 conference. Craig Black and Dennis Dunford cross the nation to bring current information to the beauty industry about the safety and effectiveness of Laser Hair Enhancement.

FDA Approves laser for hair growth
In January 2007 the FDA cleared the first and only device in history to re-grow hair, the HairMax LaserComb. The report stated:
• Effective on 93% of male subjects between 30-60 years of age
• Grew an average of 19 new hairs per centimeter
• Results were obtained in 6 months.
The LaserComb is an over-the-counter medical device and can not be used in a salon.
Salon Lasers cosmetic laser hoods can be used in salons and have 5 to 10 times more of the same laser diodes than the model used in the FDA study.
Cosmetic lasers are not medical devices, and therefore, we do not claim that they make physiological changes in the body, i.e, grow hair.
